SUGILITE is a rare cyclosilicate mineral that can be found as pink, purple, violet, or light brownish-yellow. Originally, the brownish-yellow color of Sugilite was discovered in 1944, and was named after its founder, Japanese petrologist Dr. Kenichi Sugi.
